- Preheat oven to a low temperature (around 165°C fan).
- Line a prepared baking sheet or sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix all your dry ingredients together.In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients to create a smooth syrup mixture.
- Pour the wet mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
- Spread the granola mixture onto the tray in an even layer (this is key for granola clusters).Press it down slightly to help create larger pieces and clumpy granola.
- Bake on medium heat for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the granola cool completely but don’t stir! This is how you get those nutty clusters.
- Once cooled granola is ready, break it up and add your favourite mix-ins like dried fruit or chocolate chips.
