Aperol Spritz

The Aperol Spritz is one of the most loved summer cocktails around the world. With its vibrant recognisable colour, refreshing bubbles, and bittersweet citrus flavour, this classic Italian cocktail feels like sunshine in a glass.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 glass ice
  • 75 mls prosecco
  • 50 mls Aperol
  • 25 mls soda water
  • 1 slice orange

Equipment

  • 1 large wine glass
  • 1 measuring cups

Method
 

  1. Fill a large wine glass or cocktail glass with plenty of ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the Aperol.
  3. Pour in prosecco slowly to keep the bubbles fresh and fizzy.
  4. Add club soda or soda water for the perfect refreshing finish.
  5. Add an orange slice and serve immediately in fancy glassware for the ultimate summer drink experience.

Notes

  • Use chilled ingredients for the most refreshing drink
  • Always serve in a wine glass with plenty of ice
  • Choose a good-quality dry prosecco
  • Add the prosecco before the soda water to keep the bubbles lively
  • Fresh orange slices make all the difference
